Workshops

One night. One project. Zero pressure.

Workshops are Joy Lab's way of saying: you don't have to commit to six weeks to make something beautiful. Pick a date, show up, and spend a few hours with your hands in clay, guided from start to finish by a Joy Lab instructor. Your piece gets glazed and kiln-fired after the session, and you pick it up a few weeks later like a little gift to yourself.

Great for date nights, friend groups, birthdays, or anyone who has been saying "I want to try pottery" longer than they'd like to admit. No skill required. Just curiosity.

Classes

A small group. And a teacher who actually knows your name by week two.

Classes at Joy Lab are structured learning experiences designed to take you from "I've always wanted to try this" to "I made that." Whether you're starting on the wheel or exploring hand-building, each class builds on the last, so by the end, you have real skills, real pieces, and a real reason to keep coming back.

No experience necessary. Just show up, get muddy, and permit yourself to be a beginner.

Events

Celebrate birthdays, team events, or meaningful milestones with a private clay experience at Joy Lab Ceramics—where your group can drop the pressure to be “good at art” and make something memorable together.

You’ll be guided through a beginner-friendly project by a Joy Lab instructor, and we’ll handle setup, cleanup, glazing, and kiln-firing so your finished pieces are ready for pickup after processing.

Memberships

Our membership program is the heartbeat of the studio—a space for creative consistency, connection, and clay-covered joy.

Members enjoy monthly studio hours, access to Clay Coaching sessions, shelf storage, and a supportive community to grow their practice.

Whether you’re dabbling once a week or building a full-on ceramics ritual, there’s a membership tier for you.

Joy Lab’s Open Studio Memberships are designed for clay-curious creatives who’ve already had a little to a lot of time working with clay.

We’ll kick things off with a quick studio walkthrough so you feel totally at home and confident using the space.

Brand new to clay? Start with our Intro to Ceramics class — it’s the perfect first date before diving into membership.

Clay is more than a medium; it's a mirror.
It heals. It centers. It gathers us.
It reminds us that we are human.

Love notes from the community

“Lina is an incredible host and made all of my guests feel welcome. She instructed us how to make pinch pots and people were so inspired that most people made several."

Georgina C.

“Lina has created an incredible space to learn, to create and feel supported and a part of the community. I began taking ceramics to support my work as a painter and I am bursting at the seams with ideas. Lina meets each of these with excitement, warmth and incredible knowledge. I am so grateful to have found this space to grow within.”

Cara F.

“My 'Inspired Rebel' session with Lina was truly transformative and exactly what I needed. She has an incredible way of helping you get deeply in touch with yourself and truly appreciate your inner being. Even though there were tears, they were healing tears that led to so much more joy and self-acceptance.”

Vilma E.
