Inside Joy Lab Ceramics
Joy Lab Ceramics is a community-rooted home for creativity, connection, and the beautifully messy magic of clay. Mud on your hands. Laughter in the room. Zero pressure to be perfect.
Joy Lab Philosophy:
At Joy Lab Ceramics, we believe clay isn’t just a medium—it’s a mirror. A grounding, forgiving, earthy invitation to slow down and reconnect with yourself, your creativity, and your community.
In a world that rushes and performs, we choose presence over perfection, process over product.
Whether you're here to pinch your first pot or deepen your practice, our studio is a space to make messes, take up space, and honor the joyful, sacred act of creating something with your hands.
Clay felt like more than moving dirt around.
It was healing, spiritual, and communal.
Does this sound like you?
Joy Lab Ceramics is for the curious, the creative, and the courageously messy.
For the ones who’ve always wanted to try working with clay, and for the seasoned potters or artists who crave community over competition.
It’s for the burnt-out, the tenderhearted, the play-deprived, and the idea-octopus neurospicy among us.
If you’re craving a slower pace, tactile joy, and a space where showing up as your full self is not only allowed but celebrated—welcome home.
Ways to play & create with us

On the wheel or at the worktable, our workshops are fun, pressure-free, and designed to spark joy. For first-timers and returning makers alike.
Classes
One skill at a time. Classes are where you build a real practice, learning wheel throwing or hand-building in a structured, supported environment every week. Beginners welcome. No experience necessary.

Love notes from the community
“Lina is an incredible host and made all of my guests feel welcome. She instructed us how to make pinch pots and people were so inspired that most people made several."
Georgina C.
“Lina has created an incredible space to learn, to create and feel supported and a part of the community. I began taking ceramics to support my work as a painter and I am bursting at the seams with ideas. Lina meets each of these with excitement, warmth and incredible knowledge. I am so grateful to have found this space to grow within.”
Cara F.
“My 'Inspired Rebel' session with Lina was truly transformative and exactly what I needed. She has an incredible way of helping you get deeply in touch with yourself and truly appreciate your inner being. Even though there were tears, they were healing tears that led to so much more joy and self-acceptance.”
Vilma E.
